1. What is polyester fiberglass cloth
Polyester fiberglass cloth is a new glass fiber composite anti-cracking material, which is a composite geosynthetic material composed of 60% glass fiber and 40% polyester fiber. This unique combination provides the strength of glass fiber and the flexibility of polyester fiber .
Fiberglass-Polyester Paving Mat is a new type of composite geosynthetics developed after geotextile, geogrid and strip polymer, and has good compatibility with asphalt mixture. Engineering practice shows that fiberglass grid has no waterproof function, and its grid can form an interlocking effect with asphalt mixture, but it is difficult to fix during use, and it is easy to expand and not fit, affecting the normal paving of asphalt mixture and its reinforcement effect; geotextile can prevent water infiltration, but when the paving temperature of hot asphalt mixture exceeds 160℃, its strength and creep resistance are poor and it cannot play a reinforcement and crack resistance effect; and polyester fiberglass cloth overcomes these two shortcomings. It can effectively deal with road cracks and water damage to bridge decks and roads.
