The preparation process of dehumidification wheel is a complex process involving multiple steps. The following is a possible preparation process:
I. Select substrate: First, select a suitable substrate, such as glass fiber paper or ceramic fiber paper. These substrates need to have good high temperature resistance, high humidity resistance, and certain mechanical strength. Metek glass fiber series products are made of electronic grade glass fiber chopped strands through a special wet process. The product has excellent wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, heat resistance and flame retardancy, thermal insulation and insulation. It has been maturely and stably applied in the fields of silica gel dehumidification wheel, molecular sieve dehumidification wheel and VOCs wheel.
Metek fiberglass paper features:
1. Good uniformity and consistency of gram weight and thickness (meeting the user's requirements for flatness during coating or impregnation)
2. High porosity and uniform pore distribution (meeting the user's uniform and consistent polymer dispersion during coating or impregnation)
3. Good surface flatness and no standing hair (meeting the user's requirements for consistent thickness and no pore blockage after coating or impregnation)
4. High mechanical strength (meeting the user's strength requirements in production and processing, and the mechanical strength can also be adjusted according to the user's equipment requirements)
II. Soaking treatment: Soak the selected substrate in a specific solution, such as water glass solution, to enhance its adsorption performance or change its surface properties. The soaking time depends on specific needs.
III. Drying and forming: The soaked substrate is dried and may be formed into a honeycomb structure through a specific process (such as corrugated type, bonding and stacking, etc.) to increase its surface area and adsorption efficiency.
IV. Adsorbent coating: Adsorbents such as silica gel and molecular sieves are coated on the surface of the substrate. These adsorbents capture moisture from the air and fix it on the substrate through chemical reactions or physical adsorption.
V. Drying and curing: After applying the adsorbent, the substrate is dried again and may be cured to ensure that the adsorbent is tightly bonded to the substrate and has stable adsorption performance.
VI. Assembly and testing: Assemble the prepared dehumidification wheel into the dehumidifier and perform necessary electrical safety tests and performance tests to ensure its normal operation and dehumidification effect.
The above steps are only one possible preparation process. The actual preparation process may vary due to factors such as material, equipment, and process requirements. In addition, with the advancement of science and technology and the innovation of technology, the preparation technology of dehumidification wheels is also constantly developing and improving.
